Mr. Hood has over eight years of experience in the environmental field. He began his career as an intern at the Marion County Health Department in the environmental sector where he worked performing duties as a environmental health specialist and then as a biologist performing testing for West Nile Virus and St. Louis Encephalitis as well as species identification of mosquitoes and macorinvertebrates. He also worked as an intern/researcher for ESolar Technologies where he provided marketing strategy alternative energy including biodiesel, biomass, wind power, and photovoltaic. He then ventured into the industrial hygiene side of the environmental field. He has extensive experience as a project manager in the asbestos and lead abatement industry. In addition, he has performed numerous microbial investigations and indoor air quality investigations. He has been the competent person on several projects and project manager for several large budget renovations.
